Kellie Martin is an American film and television actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Kellie Martin is most well-known for her part as the main character on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin is the daughter of a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career as an actress at age seven when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's kids assisted Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". After graduating at Yale University she began to take acting seriously and landed roles on the small and large screen. Martin is, in addition to being an excellent actress and dancer, is also a successful ballet photographer. Since she is a mother of two children, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus.
